Mrs. Uma Jayaraman is an accomplished Sanskrit educator with over 30 years of teaching experience in both classroom and online sessions. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) Sanskrit literature and English literature.

She excels in academics and has been a gold medalist in post-graduation.

Smt. Uma Jayaraman specializes in teaching Sanskrit literature, practical application-oriented grammar and spoken-Sanskrit, offering students a comprehensive understanding of its timeless relevance. Her engaging and accessible teaching style has inspired many students to explore the language’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

She is aware of the latest tools and trends in the field of education and strives to effectively uses them in her lessons.

She has conducted course on Subhashitams for prestigious platforms like Indica – an Institute promoting Indian Knowledge Systems.

She also worked for AI4Bharat as project associate and took up translation work from English to Sanskrit.

She has very good spoken skills in Sanskrit and has a passion for writing in simple Sanskrit. Some of her articles are published in Sanskrit magazines like Sambhashana-SandeshaH.
